Prasath Babu is a seasoned researcher with a strong background in materials engineering. Currently serving as a Researcher at KTH | Kungliga Tekniska högskolan since January 2017, Prasath previously worked as a Research Associate at the University of Manchester and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Rouen, focusing on the effect of nanostructurization on defect evolution during irradiation of austenitic stainless steel. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant role at the Indian Institute of Science, where Prasath was involved in the development of Ni-based superalloy processing, as well as positions as a Technical Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and an Engineer at Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd. Prasath holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Materials Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science and a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgy from Government College of Engineering, Salem.
