Bart Goderis

Bart Goderis is a Professor at KU Leuven, where they lead a research group of ten PhD researchers specializing in biobased polymer materials and their interactions in various applications. With a background that includes a Ph.D. in Polymer Physical Chemistry from KU Leuven, Bart has held positions ranging from Researcher at DSM Research to Postdoctoral Researcher and eventually progressing to Assistant and Associate Professor. They are also the Principal Investigator of a significant FWO BIG SCIENCE project utilizing synchrotron X-rays for material analysis and serve on the steering committees of both the Leuven Material Research Center and the Leuven Food Science and Nutrition Research Center. Additionally, Bart is the Secretary of the Belgian Polymer Group.
