Layzree Bongsu

Layzree Bongsu has a diverse work experience in the finance and administration field. They started their career as an Income Auditor at Shangri-La Muscat, Oman in 2005, where they worked until 2007. They then joined Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts 18 as an Accountant, later becoming the Chief Income Auditor from 2007 to 2009. In 2012, Layzree joined Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur as the Assistant Director of Finance and was also a part of the Chief Accountant - Pre Opening Team. They worked in this role until 2015 when they transitioned to Hyatt Regency as the Director of Finance until 2017. In 2018, Layzree took on the role of Director of Finance - Pre Opening & Post Operation at Hard Rock Hotel Desaru Coast, a position they held until 2021. Currently, they are working at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre as the Finance Administration Manager, and they are set to become the Director of Finance and Administration starting in February 2023.

Layzree Bongsu completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universiti Utara Malaysia in 2004. Later, they became an Associate Member of CPA Australia from 2016 to 2022. In 2022, Layzree enrolled in CIMA to study Accounting. layzree also holds a certification in BAcct Hons from Universiti Utara Malaysia.
