Why We Built KubeDNA In today's complex digital landscape, businesses face significant challenges in managing Kubernetes clusters efficiently. Traditional approaches often lead to over-provisioning, unnecessary costs, and operational inefficiencies. Moreover, IT teams often lack the expertise to align Kubernetes infrastructure with development needs. We built KubeDNA to tackle these critical issues and solve a problem we encountered ourselves. When we sought a platform to build and deploy our applications, we found existing solutions cumbersome and inadequate. Building a platform from scratch was time-consuming and distracted us from our core focus. We realized many other organizations likely face the same frustrations. Our mission was to create a comprehensive, cloud-provider agnostic solution that simplifies Kubernetes management, optimizes resource use, and enhances scalability. KubeDNA is designed with a "less is more" philosophy, starting with a minimal setup that dynamically grows based on demand. This ensures businesses only use and pay for the resources they truly need. KubeDNA bridges the gap between IT operations and development by providing a seamless, automated environment supporting both legacy systems and modern microservices. Our self-healing capabilities, dynamic scaling, and robust certificate management eliminate the complexities and manual interventions typically associated with Kubernetes management.
