Leah Pieris

Leah Pieris is an Associate Consultant at Kuberno Limited. Leah has over 10 years of experience in the financial services industry, specializing in risk and compliance.

Leah began their career at Westpac Institutional Bank in 2010 as a Risk Analyst. In this role, they were responsible for identifying and assessing business risks and credit strategy. Leah then transitioned to Westpac's Enterprise Risk team in 2011 as Manager of Risk Governance. In this role, Leah was responsible for developing and implementing risk management policies and procedures.

In 2017, Leah left Westpac to join BT Financial Group as Senior Manager of Regulatory Disclosure. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the disclosure of regulatory information to shareholders. Leah left BT Financial Group in 2019 to join Neyber as Interim Head of Compliance.

In their current role as Associate Consultant at Kuberno Limited, Leah is responsible for providing compliance consulting services to clients.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Leah Pieris pursued a career in governance, completing a Graduate Diploma of Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia. Leah then went on to complete fellowships from both the Governance Institute of Australia and The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland. Leah is also a Global Member of Women On Boards.

Their manager is Zoe Bucknell, Co-Founder, Product Lead & Strategy. They are on a team with Donald Davies - Associate Consultant, Glen Johnstone - Director of Operations & MD of The Governance Gym, and Lisa Scott - Associate Consultant.
