Grainne Coen

Grainne Coen is the current director at Kubient. Grainne has held previous positions at Signal Hill Acquisition Corp, Comvest Partners, Matriark, Kubient, and Elevation Investment Partners, LLC. Her longest tenure was with Columbia Partners, L.L.C. Investment Management where they served as a principal and portfolio manager from January 2001 to December 2015. In this role, they co-managed the firm's hedge fund and U.S. small cap equity fund, overseeing $1 billion in assets. Grainne also managed Taft Hartley, corporate funds, endowment funds, trusts, HNW, public foundations, pension and profit-sharing plans for multibillion-dollar investment advisor. Throughout their career, Grainne has focused on investing in U.S. publicly traded equities and has engaged in extensive market research. Grainne has worked with senior management teams and industry leaders to analyze individual stocks and find catalyst-driven investment opportunities. Grainne has also utilized and built quant model overlays to screen industries and used beta analytics to reduce risk and balance portfolios. Public holdings they have been involved with include special situation financials, BDC sector, asset managers, banking, and brokerage sectors. Technology, telecom and media, healthcare services, consumer and retail sectors have also been part of their investment focus.
