Steve Solun

Steve Solun has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Steve currently works at Kubiya.ai as the VP of Data Science and AI, where they focus on developing complex recommendation systems solutions and constructing an advanced NLU platform. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Data Scientist at Velotix and as the Lead Data Scientist at OmeCare DNA. Steve also has experience at Bank Leumi בנק לאומי, where they served as a Senior Data Scientist and later as a Lead Data Analyst. Steve started their career in the Elite Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Cybersecurity Unit (MATZOV) as a Military Service DevOps Team Leader.

Steve Solun completed their education as follows:

- From 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master's Degree in Financial Mathematics at Bar-Ilan University.

- Between 2009 and 2012, they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Applied Mathematics (Expanded Program) from Bar-Ilan University.

- During the same period (2009-2012), they also obtained an Associate's Degree in Classical and Modern Art, Philosophy from Bar-Ilan University.

- Prior to that, from 2003 to 2006, they completed their high school education and received a High School Diploma with Honors from Hayovel High School in subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Robotics, and English.
