Feroze Waris

Feroze Waris has a diverse work experience in the field of software and machine learning. Feroze is currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer at KUBRA since 2022. Prior to this, they were employed at Confiz from 2020 to 2021, where they held the position of Senior Machine Learning Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for developing machine learning pipelines, data preprocessing pipelines, and feature engineering for time series and regression data. Feroze also assisted data scientists in modeling time series data for sales and expense prediction. Feroze Waris worked as a Senior Software Engineer at NorthBay Solutions from February 2020 to September 2020. Feroze started their career as a Software Engineer at Expertflow in November 2018 and worked there until February 2020. At Expertflow, they developed scripts for integrating chatbots and customized the Rasa Chatbot framework. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer - VoIP at Vopium from April 2015 to April 2017. Feroze began their professional journey as an intern at PTCL in June 2013, where they gained basic understanding of the PTCL Lahore network and worked on switching of PSTN calls.

Feroze Waris obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Lahore University of Management Sciences, which they attended from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology in Pakistan, spanning from 2011 to 2015. Feroze also attended Punjab College of Science from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained an FSc degree in Pre-Engineering. Feroze'seducation history includes matriculation from Garrison Academy for Boys in Lahore from 2004 to 2008, specializing in the field of Science. Additionally, Feroze Waris obtained a certification in MLOps Essentials: Model Development and Integration from LinkedIn in June 2023.
