Josias Avila

Josias Avila is an accomplished Sales Business Development professional with extensive experience in the cryptocurrency and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Sales Business Development Manager at KuCoin Exchange since April 2025, Josias previously held the same title at Hex Trust and was the Head of Sales and Business Development at NovaDAX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange in Latin America. Josias has also worked as the Director for Latin America at HAYVN, where the focus was on facilitating cryptocurrency payments for businesses globally. As the founder of BitBalcão, an OTC desk for cryptocurrency trading, and with experience as a Business Consultant at Mamoru, Josias has demonstrated a strong ability to drive growth and enhance market reach. Earlier career roles include Country Manager at Shenzhen Skyworth Digital Technology Co., Ltd., ITC Director for Latin America at Brightstar, and Business Developer at ATEL and Brightstar. Josias holds an MBA from Hult International Business School and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from USP - Universidade de São Paulo.
