Tanya Essien

Tanya Essien, MEd, currently serves as the Implementation and Training Manager at Kuder, where responsibilities include leading the implementation and training efforts for a career planning system across Louisiana, while fostering relationships with key stakeholders in workforce development and education. Previously, Tanya held positions as Dean of Education at Fortis College-Baton Rouge, where leadership involved preparing academic programs and maintaining educational quality, and as Director of Education at Education Management, Inc., overseeing academic operations. Additional experience includes roles such as Sr. HR Generalist and Recruiter at Watts Health Care Corp, Director of Career Services and Employer Relations Advisor at The Art Institute of California, and Assistant Director of Admissions at Argosy University. Tanya began a career in education as an English and Drama teacher in the Oakland Unified School District. Educational qualifications include a BA in English from Southern University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Argosy University.
