Murat Ungun

Murat Ungun has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning various industries. Murat began their career in 1992 as a Technical Sales Support Manager at Unilever and then moved on to work as a Quality Assurance Supervisor at Coca Cola Company in 1993. In 1994, they joined McDonald's Turkey as a Quality Assurance Supervisor and later became a Purchasing Supervisor. From 1999 to 2005, they held multiple roles at McDonald's Turkey, including Purchasing Product Manager, Country Purchasing Manager, and Supply Chain Manager.

In 2005, Murat Ungun joined McDonald's Asia Pacific Middle East and Africa, where they served as a Supply Chain Director from 2005 to 2015. In this role, they provided leadership and support to 17 markets in the Middle East and Africa, focusing on strategic planning, consulting, training, coaching, and people development. Murat also played a key role in supply chain initiatives and the alignment of strategies to support business targets.

In 2015, Murat Ungun became involved with Kudu company for food and catering. Murat held various leadership positions, including Vice President of Supply Chain, Chief Supply Chain & Brand Development Officer, Chief Operations Officer, and ultimately became the Chief Executive Officer in July 2019.

Murat Ungun attended Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University from 1985 to 1991, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Food Engineering. Murat also pursued another BSc. degree in Food Engineering from Middle East Technical University. However, the specific start and end years for this additional degree are not provided.
