Alexandru Stanculescu has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance (QA) and software testing. Alexandru started their career at Electronic Arts (EA) in 2010 as a QA Tester before moving on to Ubisoft as a QA Tester in 2011.
In 2012, they joined Amber Studio Romania, where they held multiple roles such as Senior QA Tester, Junior Level Designer, and Studio Development Tester. During their time at Amber Studio Romania, Alexandru gained experience in mobile game development, level design, and QA needs for emerging applications.
After their tenure at Amber Studio Romania, Alexandru worked as a Software QA Engineer at Medicover from 2015 to 2016. Here, they performed manual and automated testing on a multi-platform medical software suite in an Agile framework. Alexandru also assisted in the production and deployment processes and developed automation tests using C#.
From 2016 to 2017, Alexandru worked at Raiffeisen as a Software QA Engineer. Following their stint at Raiffeisen, they joined HomeTouch as a Lead QA Engineer from 2017 to 2019.
In 2019, Alexandru joined On as a Lead QA Engineer, where they worked until 2021. Here, they played a key role in ensuring the quality of software releases.
From 2021 to 2022, Alexandru worked at Helsing as a QA Manager, overseeing the QA team's activities and ensuring quality standards are met.
Currently, Alexandru is working at KUGU as a Senior QA Engineer, starting in 2023.
Alexandru Stanculescu attended the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Aerospace Engineering. In 2022, they enrolled at WBS CODING SCHOOL, completing a Fullstack web & app development bootcamp in 2023. Additionally, Alexandru obtained certifications in Agile Software Development: Scrum for Developers from LinkedIn in January 2023, and a Certificate in Advanced English and First Certificate in English from Lexis School of Languages, although the specific dates are unavailable.
