Tong Liang Cheam

Tong Liang Cheam has a diverse work experience spanning several companies in the technology industry. Tong Liang started their career at ST Microelectronics in 1990 as a Member of Technical Staff, where they worked until 1994. Tong Liang then joined IBM as an FAE Manager and stayed with the company for eight years. In 2002, they transitioned to Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd as the Senior Director of Product Marketing, a role they held until 2009 when they became the Senior Director of Strategic Marketing. Tong Liang joined Kulicke and Soffa in 2010, first as the Director of Strategic Marketing and later promoted to the role of VP of Strategic Marketing and Business Development in 2011.

Tong Liang Cheam pursued an MSc degree in Electronics at Queen's University Belfast from 1984 to 1985. Prior to that, from 1982 to 1985, they studied Electronics at Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology.
