Biju George Palayil

An industry veteran, Biju took charge as our new CEO in 2021. In his role, Biju will diversify the Kumar product portfolio, spearhead business development and expand the company's footprint into newer geographies. He brings immense capability, with a formidable background in Marketing, Operations and Project Management going back 27 years.

A multiple graduate with multiple post-graduate qualifications, including an MBA from ISB, Hyderabad and Executive Management Programs from Wharton and Kellogg School, Biju has always been at the top of his class, with first-class marks and distinction grades. He also has training and certifications in Quality Control Management/Systems and Manufacturing Supervision as per FDA guidelines (based on GMP).

Biju started his career with VVF India in 1994, where he progressed from Trainee Engineer to President Director before joining Sinarmas Group in Indonesia as Head of Operations in 2012. In 2016, he joined Darmex Group, Indonesia, as their COO before taking on a CEO role at Mectech Group in 2018.

Biju's career has been built on his governing principles of honesty, commitment, integrity and sincerity and the need for continuous improvement. He brings these principles to his vision of making Kumar the world's leading technology and EPCC service provider.

Biju passionately believes in supporting education for underprivileged children and support systems for eldercare.
