Min Shen

Min Shen has worked in the software engineering industry since 2009. In 2009, they began working as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they also served as a Teaching Assistant. In 2012, they interned as a Software Development Engineer at Amazon, working on a host monitoring project. In 2013, they interned as a MTS at VMware, exploring the benefit of virtualizing Hadoop YARN on top of VMware vSphere. From 2014 to 2022, they worked at LinkedIn, first as a Senior Software Engineer, then as a Staff Software Engineer, and finally as a Sr. Staff Software Engineer. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Kumo.AI.

Min Shen received a BE in Software Engineering from Nanjing University between 2005 and 2009. Following that, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, which they completed in 2014.
