Siyang Xie

Siyang Xie has a diverse work experience in the tech industry. In 2022, they began working as a Software Engineer at Kumo.AI. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at Pinterest, where they held multiple positions including Engineering Manager, Content Acquisition & Media Platform, Staff Software Engineer & Tech Lead, ML Data/Feature Platform, Senior Software Engineer, Content Platform, and Senior Software Engineer, Homefeed. Prior to that, from 2010 to 2016, they worked at Google as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for delivering people-oriented Contacts experience for Google users and building in-house large scale streaming/incremental social affinity signal computing infrastructure.

Siyang Xie obtained their B.S. in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2007. Siyang then pursued an M.S. in Physics at UC Irvine from 2007 to 2009, followed by an M.S. in Computer Engineering from 2009 to 2010.
