Luca Sutton

Luca Sutton serves as the Head of Running Gear and Suspension Team Lead for TUfast Eco Team since November 2021, with additional roles including Suspension Lead and Numerical Mechanics Engineer, Suspension Lead and Additive Manufacturing Engineer, and Autonomous Integration and Additive Manufacturing Engineer. Contributions to the Fraunhofer Institute for High-Speed-Dynamics include a Bachelor Thesis focused on automated multi-load case topology optimisation for additive manufacturing from November 2023 to May 2024. Previous experience encompasses a position as a Research and Development Engineer at 3D Systems Corporation from April to June 2023, manufacturing internships at GEWO Feinmechanik GmbH and Mechanische Werkstätte Hilmer in 2020, and a student internship with the BMW Group in June 2018. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich (2020 - 2024) and an International Baccalaureate from Bavarian International School gAG (2008 - 2020).
