Siling Zhao

Siling Z. has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2013, Siling worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Sichuan University's Department of Chemistry. From 2015 to 2020, Siling joined the University of Illinois at Chicago's Department of Chemistry, first as a Graduate Research Assistant and later as a Teaching Assistant. In 2020, Siling transitioned to Affinity Research Chemicals, Inc as a Research Chemist, where they worked until 2021. Most recently, Siling joined Kumquat Biosciences Inc. as a Scientist I in February 2022.

Siling Z. pursued their education in the field of chemistry, specializing in inorganic and organic chemistry. Siling completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Sichuan University between the years 2010 and 2014. Afterwards, they went on to pursue a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Organic Chemistry from the University of Virginia in 2014-2015. Siling furthered their academic journey by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Inorganic and Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois Chicago from 2015 to 2020.
