Sachin Katti has a long and varied work experience. Sachin is currently the Chief Technology Officer - Network and Edge Group at Intel Corporation. Prior to that, they were the Technical Steering Board Co-Chair at O-RAN Alliance from 2018 to 2021. From 2010 to 2016, they were an Associate Professor and Assistant Professor at Stanford University. Sachin was also the Founder of Uhana from 2016 to 2018, Co-founder and CEO and Co-Founder of Kumu Networks from 2011 to 2016, Founder and Director of xRAN Forum from 2016 to 2018, and a Postdoctoral Scholar at UC Berkeley from 2008 to 2010. Before that, they were a Research Assistant at MIT from 2003 to 2008.
Sachin Katti received their B. Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay in 2003. Sachin then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which they completed in 2008.
