Mohamed Ali Abid has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Mohamed Ali currently serves as the CTO & co-founder of Kumulus Water since September 2020. Prior to that, they were the CEO & CoFounder of Climb'IN, where they successfully launched the first indoor climbing gym in Tunisia.

Mohamed Ali also worked at Azolis as a Site Works and Project Manager, where they managed a waste heat recovery power plant remediation project. Mohamed Ali was responsible for the project's execution and coordination with the client Pioneer Cement Industry in Ras al Khaimah, UAE. Mohamed also worked as a Technical Consultant for the same project.

Before that, they held positions at Aqylon as a Technical Sales Manager and Mechanical Engineer, where they contributed to waste heat recovery projects and provided support to the CTO and team members.

As an intern at EDF, Mohamed worked as a Smartgrid Engineer Intern, conducting a strategic study on the evolution of electric management systems in French Islands. Mohamed Ali collected feedback from various stakeholders and defined a roadmap for the system's evolution.

Mohamed has also gained research experience as a Research Intern at Laboratoire de génie électrique de Paris and as an Engineering Intern at TST Engineering Group.

From 2008 to 2010, Mohamed Ali Abid attended IPEST where they pursued their Ecole Préparatoire CPGE degree. Mohamed Ali then went on to study at École Polytechnique from 2010 to 2015, earning their Diplôme d'Ingénieur de l'École polytechnique - Master 2 in Energies of the XXth century. In 2013 and 2014, they also attended Mines Paris and obtained their Diplôme d'Ingénieur Civil des Mines de Paris with a specialization in "Machines et Energies".
