Francisco Javier Alonso

Francisco Javier Alonso is a telecommunications engineer with extensive experience in the field. Since 2013, Francisco has been a co-founder of Kunak, focusing on the design of energy-efficient wireless communication systems for monitoring and control in hard-to-access locations. Previously, Francisco worked as an R&D engineer at Distcom Antenas, where responsibilities included electronic design and programming. As a radiofrequency engineer at TTT Terminales de telecomunicación terrestres, expertise was applied in designing and manufacturing microwave circuits for communication equipment. Francisco also contributed to satellite control stations at Indra Espacio, specializing in radiofrequency subsystems. Early in the career, Francisco was a trainee at Cátedra Amena, conducting research on propagation channel characterization in railway tunnels. Francisco holds an Ingeniería Superior de Telecomunicaciones degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
