Alexei Helmbock is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in game development, having held key positions in several notable companies. Currently a Full Stack Senior Engineer at Kung Fu Factory since March 2016, Alexei has previously worked as a Gameplay Programmer at Red 5 Studios and a Lead Programmer at GameDesk, focusing on educational games using C#/Unity. Alexei's earlier roles include Lead Technical Producer/Senior Gameplay Engineer at Kung Fu Factory, where contributions were made to various console titles, and Gameplay Engineer positions at Jailed Games, Inc. and The 3DO Company, specializing in gameplay systems for consoles. Alexei began a career in software engineering in the telecommunications sector with ODC and provided customer support at AdValue Media Technologies. Alexei holds a Master of Science (M.S.) in Physics from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor's degree in Astronomy and Astrophysics and Physics from Harvard University.
