Jim Forester is currently an advisor at KUNGFU.AI, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to that, they were the Chief Information Officer at Xanterra Travel Collection from March 2019 to August 2020. There, they were responsible for overall Technology Strategy, Delivery, and Support for a Hospitality and Travel company providing services for hotels, restaurants, and retail for national parks (Yellowstone, Glacier, Grand Canyon, Zion Mt. Rushmore, and Rocky Mountain), operating a cruise line (Windstar Cruise Lines), and operating two group and individual tour companies (Holiday Vacations and Country Walkers/ Vermont Bicycling Tours).
From January 2016 to December 2019, Forester was contracted as a Senior Executive to the CIO at Whole Foods Market (Amazon). There, they orchestrated an IT strategy and transformation program to redefine how Technology services were delivered and maintained. Jim also led a system Cyber-Security program, including a cleansing/ hardening effort and a cloud migration strategy.
From January 2014 to December 2016, Forester served as Vice President IT, Retail, Customer Care, DTC, and Supply Chain Systems at T-Mobile. And from January 2009 to December 2014, they were Vice President of Restaurant Systems at Jack in the Box.
Jim Forester has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona.
