Laura Stamps is an experienced curator and art professional, currently serving as the curator of modern and contemporary art at Kunstmuseum Den Haag since March 2009. Prior to this role, Laura held positions as an advisor for text and programming at Nest, Space for Contemporary Art, and served as a spokesperson and PR communication specialist at gemeentemuseum, gem, museum voor actuele kunst, fotomuseum den Haag. Additional experience includes freelance writing for Mister Motley and art criticism for both Tubelight and 8weekly. Laura's early career involved project coordination for Claire Beke, organizing events at Showroom MAMA, and conducting research for VPRO. Laura Stamps earned two master's degrees from the University of Amsterdam in Media & Culture, as well as Art History and Archeology, complemented by secondary education from Christelijk Lyceum Gouda.
