Vesa Mettovaara

Vesa Mettovaara is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in development and business solutions, currently serving as Development Manager and Business Solution Manager at Kuntarahoitus Oyj - Municipality Finance Plc since January 2020. Prior to this role, Vesa held the position of Senior Advisor at Citrus Solutions Oy from February 2018 to December 2019, and spent nearly a decade at the National Supervisory Authority for Welfare and Health (Valvira), where Vesa progressed from Systems Specialist to Head of Unit. Additional experience includes partnerships at AIHIO Technologies Oy, project planning at North Finland Film Commission, and system administration at Northern Film and Media Centre POEM. Vesa also contributed to the University of Oulu as an assistant during the Merlin project while completing a Master’s degree in Information Processing Science from the same institution between 1999 and 2005.
