Fernanda Wanderley is a data scientist and co-founder of Mulheres em IA. They have studied artificial intelligence and computational methods since 2004, with a keen focus on neural networks and evolutionary computing, primarily applied in medicine and bioinformatics. At Mendelics, they developed a deep learning model for genetic mutation classification, which is currently in production. They served as a professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and have also conducted research at ESIEE Paris, contributing to published papers on chemotherapy efficacy prediction.
