Mike Godin

Mike Godin has held a variety of roles in the finance and business industries since 1998. In that year, they began as Business Manager for Alter Supra S.A. de C.V., where they helped to establish a family-owned business manufacturing and distributing paint. In 2001, they became a Financial Advisor for InverCap Afore. In 2004, they joined Roland Berger as a Strategic Project Consultant, leading a team of three Jr. Consultants on a client cost strategy solution. In 2005, they began at HSBC as Head of Retail Network Development & Optimization, developing a Long Range Plan to achieve cost reduction and customer experience enhancement. Mike was later promoted to VP CMB/GB Commercial Credit Insurance and VP HSBC Insurance. In 2014, they founded Fundare Real Estate, conceptualizing and launching a company that started as a crowdfunding project. In 2016, they became Principal Managing Partner at Fundare Finance, helping over 100 companies to strengthen their finances. In 2019, they founded Brains On Demand, helping underrepresented college students gain professional experience through internships. In 2021, they became Head of Business Development at Kuona Analytics and Chair of the Entrepreneurs' Organization Accelerator Program.

Mike Godin has an extensive education history. Mike obtained a MA Economics from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 1998-2003, a Diploma in Economics of European Union from University of Essex in 2000, an MBA in International Management from Asian Institute of Technology in 2004-2005, and an MBA in International Management from ESCP Business School in 2003-2005. In 2010, they completed the Commercial Lending Training from Moody's and in 2011, they obtained their Investment Strategies Advisor (Series 210) certification from AMIB. In 2020, they completed the Stanford Ignite - Full Time program from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and they are currently enrolled in the Advanced Finance Program (AFP) at The Wharton School, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
