Marjo Kervinen

Marjo Kervinen began their work experience in 1998 as a Specialist in Internal Medicine at Vaasan sairaanhoitopiiri. In 2001, they joined Kuopio University Hospital (KUH) as a Nephrologist and later became an Assistant Chief Physician. Since January 2018, they have been serving as the Head of Medical Center at Kuopio University Hospital, overseeing the Centre of Oncology, Centre of Medicine, Centre of Paediatric and Adolescent Medicine, and Clinical Pharmacy.

Marjo Kervinen's education history begins in 1982 when they enrolled at the University of Oulu to pursue a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in the field of Medicine. Marjo completed their studies in 1988.

In 1993, Kervinen furthered their education at the University of Eastern Finland and obtained a specialization in Internal Medicine in 1994.
