Tamara Akentjew is a highly experienced professional who has worked in various roles within the biotechnology industry. Currently serving as the Co-Founder & CEO of Coral Bio, a Patagonia-based seaweed biorefinery aiming to disrupt the chemicals industry. With a background in civil engineering and biotechnology, Tamara has held positions such as Senior Product Manager at Kura Biotech and Process Engineer at Clínica Alemana de Santiago. Tamara has also conducted research and development work at Cells for Cells S.A., focusing on vascular grafts and tissue engineering. With a Master of Science in Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, Tamara is well-equipped to drive innovation and success in their field.
