Asako McCloskey

Asako McCloskey currently serves as a Senior Scientist II at Kura Oncology, Inc. since May 2021, having previously held the position of Senior Scientist. Prior experience includes roles as a Staff Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at The Salk Institute for Biological Studies from April 2014 to May 2021, as well as Postdoctoral Researcher and Project Assistant Professor at Kyoto University between October 2012 and March 2014. Before these positions, Asako McCloskey worked as a Technical Research Assistant at the Institute for Virus Research from April 2011 to September 2012. Asako McCloskey earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Kyoto University in 2012, after obtaining a Master's degree in 2007 and a Bachelor's degree in 2005 from the same institution.
