Kurt Lesker started their career as an Industrial Engineer at the Kurt J. Lesker Company in September 2006. Kurt worked in this role for about nine months before being promoted to the position of Global Quality Manager in May 2007. Kurt held this role for four years until March 2011 when they became Vice General Manager - Asian Operations. After serving in this position for two years, they took on the role of Vice President of Global Sales in July 2013. Finally, Kurt was appointed President and CEO of the company in October 2015, a position they currently hold.

Before joining the Kurt J. Lesker Company, Kurt Lesker worked as a Litigation Consultant - Construction Practice at Navigant Consulting from September 2005 to September 2006.

Kurt Lesker completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Economics at Lehigh University from 2001 to 2005. Kurt then pursued a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Strategy at Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business from 2011 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Kurt Lesker obtained various certifications, including an Instrument Rated Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in May 2008, an Open Water Diver certification from PADI in January 2005, and an Entrepreneurial Fellowship from the University of Pittsburgh Katz Graduate School of Business in January 2010. Kurt Lesker also holds certifications as a Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CQM/OE) and a Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ), although specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
