Amir Rustamzadeh has worked in a variety of roles since 2008. Amir began their career as an intern at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, where they worked on the Actuator Electronic Ground Support Equipment (AEGSE) project and Mobility and Robotics Systems. In 2010, they were an Avionics Intern at Space Exploration Technologies. Amir then went on to become an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of California, Riverside in 2010, where they conducted robotics research under Professor Jay A. Farrell. In 2012, they became a Graduate Student Researcher at the College of Engineering - Center for Environmental Research and Technology, leading development of a 1MWh battery energy storage system. In 2014, they founded and became the Lead Engineer at Rustamson. From 2018 to 2022, they held the roles of Director of Developer Experience (DX), Head of Developer Experience, and Senior Software Engineer at Cypress.io. Amir currently holds the role of Head of Product at Kurtosis.
Amir Rustamzadeh began their educational career in 2008 when they earned their Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Riverside. Amir continued their studies at the same institution and in 2012 became a PhD Candidate in Electrical Engineering. Amir completed their studies in 2014.
