There are many awards dedicated to the memory of distinguished artists. Thus, the most prestigious British award bears the name of Joseph Mallord William Turner, the French award for young artists is dedicated to Marcel Duchamp, Russian award is named after Wassily Kandinsky. Such dedication not only serves as a tribute to those who changed our perception of art, but above all it contains a hope for the future; an attempt to recognise those who bravely search for new things, to demonstrate that even today one can change the world, reinventing it, creating a hitherto unknown language.
