Yvonne Kagondu

Yvonne Kagondu has a strong background in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. Yvonne is the Co-Founder of Kushite ICP East Africa Hub, a role they started in 2023. Prior to that, they founded the Kenya Blockchain Ladies DAO in 2021. Yvonne has also served as an Advisor for nGeni Developers, a Fullstack developer and tech strategist organization, from 2021 to 2023. Yvonne was an Advisor for ForceField in 2022 and held the position of Head of Community for Porta Network from 2021 to 2022. Yvonne also worked as a Community Manager for TokenMinds from 2021 to 2022. Before that, they served as a Kenya Community Lead and Moderator for Paxful, a digital currency platform, from 2020 to 2021. Yvonne was a Community Manager for Zippie eWallet from 2019 to 2020 and worked as an East African representative and Admin for KuBitX Exchange, a secure asset trading platform, from 2018 to 2020. Yvonne began their career as a Quality Assurance specialist for Google Digital Skills For Africa in 2018.

Yvonne Kagondu obtained a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Financial Economics from Strathmore University from 2014 to 2018. In 2018, they also obtained a certificate in Computer Software and Media Applications from Moringa School. Additionally, they have certifications in Blockchain Intro from IBM and Google Digital Skills for Africa from Google, both obtained in 2018.
