Federico Carreno

Federico Carreno has extensive work experience in the field of finance and treasury. Federico is currently working at Kushki as the Treasury VP. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Treasury & Tax at Rappi from 2020 to 2021. Before joining Rappi, Federico worked at The Adecco Group as the Finance Controller LATAM and later as the Head of Treasury & Tax LATAM from 2018 to 2020.

Federico also has a significant background in treasury planning and investment management, having worked at Avianca Holdings S.A. as the Treasury Planning and Investment Manager from 2016 to 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Treasury Planning Manager from 2012 to 2016, where they achieved various significant milestones such as successful debt renegotiations and the execution of cash management strategies.

Federico started their career as a Financial Planning Analyst at Alpina in 2008 before moving on to Avianca Holdings S.A. as a Financial Planning Analyst in 2009.

Federico Carreno earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Executive MBA from IE Business School in 2015. Prior to that, they were an exchange student at McGill University in 2007-2008. Federico completed their undergraduate studies at Universidad Externado de Colombia from 2003 to 2008, earning a degree in Profesional en Finanzas y Relaciones Internacionales.
