Kurt Maier

Kurt Maier is currently serving as Förvaltningsledare at Kustbevakningen since August 2023. Prior to this role, Kurt Maier spent over 25 years at Ericsson, where positions included System Developer, Solution Architect, and Operative Product Manager, focusing on the development and integration of revenue management systems and solutions. Additional experience includes serving as a Data Supporter within the Swedish military in Kosovo and as a Software Developer for Ericsson Software Technology. Early in their career, Kurt Maier worked at Scania in a hands-on manufacturing role. Kurt Maier holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Kalmar University, obtained between 1995 and 1998.
