Alena Simon

Alena Simon is an accomplished legal professional with experience as an Associate Attorney at Kutak Rock since March 2022 and previously served as a Senior Law Clerk/Deputy County Attorney for Sarpy County. Alena's legal career includes roles as a Law Clerk at Eckland & Blando LLP, Ramsey County, and ACLU of Minnesota, where responsibilities ranged from drafting litigation documents to managing daily court calendars and conducting legal research. Alena also has a background in community organizing, having served as a County Organizer for Food & Water Watch and a Field Organizer for a successful election campaign. Educationally, Alena holds a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, cum laude, from the University of Denver.
