Jim Cook

Jim Cook has extensive work experience in various roles. Jim began their career as a Technology Trainer at Prosoft Training in May 1995 and worked there until April 1996. Following that, they joined Kutak Rock in May 1996 and held the position of Director, Advanced Technology until July 2019. In this role, they were responsible for managing the firm's Information Security Management System, overseeing the desktop administration team, and selecting/upgrading technology for the firm's staff nationwide. Subsequently, they became the Director of Cybersecurity at Kutak Rock from July 2019 onwards. Prior to their tenure at Prosoft Training, Jim served as an Electronic Intelligence Interceptor/Analyst at the 135th MI Battalion, 35th Infantry Division, USAR from August 1989 to August 1997.

Jim Cook attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1987 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)² in December 2017.
