Maria Smith

Maria Smith has extensive experience in financial risk management, currently serving as Control Gobal del Riesgo at Kutxabank since October 2021. Prior to this role, Maria worked as a Senior Consultant in Financial Risk Management at KPMG from July 2015 to October 2022. Early career experiences include a position as a Becaria at Acciona Agua, S.A. from March 2014 to June 2015 and multiple internships at Scottish Power in 2013. Maria holds a degree in Administración y Dirección de Empresas with a PDD from the University of Deusto, completed between 2009 and 2013, and has a strong foundational education from Bienaventurada Virgen Maria (Irlandesas) and Lycee Français de Bilbao.
