Azer Mamedov

Azer Mamedov is an experienced professional in health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management within the oil and gas sector, currently serving as the Head of HSE Unit at Kuwait Oil Company since May 2019, overseeing operations in the Drilling Group North & West Kuwait. Earlier roles include Deputy HSE Manager at TechnipFMC, HSS Lead for the Shah Deniz 2 pipeline project at BP, and Operations Safety Lead at Shell. Azer Mamedov began a career in HSEQ management with KCA Deutag and has held positions at STAMFORD BUILDING SERVICES LIMITED and Azerkorpu LTD. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Environment in Oil Industry and a Bachelor’s degree in Oil and Gas from Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.
