Sohaib Qadar

Sohaib Qadar is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as a Special Legal Advisor at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation since February 2020. In this role, Sohaib provides legal advisory support for various activities, focusing on financing agreements and international marketing related to LNG operations across multiple Asian countries. Prior to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, Sohaib held the position of General Manager, Legal & Commercial at Pakistan Petroleum Limited, where responsibilities included serving as General Counsel and participating in executive leadership committees. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Canadian Rockies Energy Inc., OMV, and OMV Petrom, along with founding a legal consultancy firm in Islamabad. Sohaib's extensive background in legal and commercial matters within the petroleum sector is complemented by a solid educational foundation in law and sciences.
