Waseem Nawaz

Waseem Nawaz is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience across multiple organizations in the telecommunications sector. Currently serving as the General Manager of Business Finance at stc Kuwait since September 2009, Waseem oversees the Business Finance department, which encompasses Pricing & Profitability, Investment Analysis & Control, and Revenue Assurance & Fraud Management. Previously, Waseem held roles such as Director of Business Finance and Senior Manager of Pricing & Costing at the same company, focusing on strategic pricing, product analyses, and profitability. Prior to stc Kuwait, Waseem worked at Telenor Pakistan as Manager of Business Analysis, and at the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority as Deputy Director, both roles emphasizing financial evaluation and regulatory frameworks. Waseem began a career in consultancy with Ernst & Young Pakistan and Andersen Consulting, providing advisory services across various sectors. Waseem holds an ACMA from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, an MBA in Finance from Alliance Manchester Business School, and a second ACMA from the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan.
