Elizabeth Farah, DNP, FNP-BC, currently serves as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Katahdin Valley Health Center since December 2021. Prior experience includes a position as a Medical Surgical Nurse at The University of Vermont Health Network - Central Vermont Medical Center from October 2018 to September 2021. Elizabeth has received notable awards, including the Preceptor of the Year Award in 2021 and a nomination for the Daisy Award in May 2021. Education includes a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Vermont (2017-2021) and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Siena College (2012-2016). Additional experience encompasses roles in college advising and direct care support, contributing to a diverse professional background in healthcare and community service.

Since 1974, Katahdin Valley Health Center (KVHC) has provided high quality, cost effective primary health care services to community members throughout the Katahdin Region. Our health centers are very much like private physicians' offices where a person calls to schedule an appointment for a variety of reasons to be seen by a medical or dental provider within a timely manner. This is where the similarity ends.
