Katie Groll

Katie started working at KW in 2009. She is the Financial Controller and HR manager. Katie did not imagine either of those titles as her career path, but both have turned out to be passions that she finds extremely fulfilling. She graduated from GVSU with a bachelor’s degree in Communications & Advertising and has spent time throughout her career finding ways to educate herself to support her role. Aside from completing courses in finance, she is SHRM-CP certified. KW has changed dramatically in the time she has been with the company, and she feels fortunate to be part of the team who refuses to see KW fail; her co-workers are the hardest working people she knows. When she is not plugged in, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids, all things sports, house projects, and leading or taking fitness classes at Pure Barre.
