Sia Lahai

Sia Lahai is a senior accountant at KW Specialty Insurance. Sia has been with the company for nine months and is responsible for assisting in the preparation of statutory required internal monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budget variance analysis, and preparing other accounting reports as may be requested. Additionally, they perform operating accounts payable functions to include vendor set up, check generation, 1099 processing, month-end closing activities and balance sheet reconciliations. Sia also monthly balances and validates agency bill statements, direct bill statements and weekly analyzes funding request statements to initiate wires and payments to agents. Lastly, they assist in the interim and annual audit by providing documentations and resources to external auditors.

Sia Lahai has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of California, Santa Cruz in Business Management Economics with an Emphasis in Accounting and a Minor in Technology & Information Management. Sia Lahai also has an Accounting degree from Foothill College and a degree in Business Administration and Management, General from De Anza College.
