Marten van der Mei

Marten van der Mei began their work experience at Sparkasse Schaumburg as a Trainee from 1990 to 1992. Marten then joined Bauknecht Hausgeräte GmbH / Whirlpool Corp. and held various roles from 1998 to 2003, including Marketing Manager and Product Manager. From 2004 to 2005, they worked as the Regional Marketing Manager at Philips DAP EMEA. Marten then moved on to Siemssen Electronics GmbH / MPC-Group where they served as the Head of Business - Home appliances & Senior Key Accounter from 2005 to 2006. Marten then joined Bauknecht Hausgeräte GmbH again as the Marketing Director Germany&Austria and later as the Marketing Director DACH&BENELUX from 2006 to 2010. Marten then became the Managing Director of Bauknecht Hausgeräte GmbH from 2013 to 2014. Marten worked at Samsung Electronics GmbH as the Director / Head of BU Home Appliances from 2014 to 2015. Marten then joined WMF Professional Coffee Machines as the General Manager - Professional Coffee Machines Germany from 2015 to 2017 and later became the General Manager WMF GmbH & Vice President Professional Coffee Machines DACH from 2017 to 2022. From 2020 to 2022, Marten served as the Managing Director of proHeq GmbH & Vice President GBU Hotel. Currently, Marten is the General Manager Global Sales at KWC Professional and the Managing Director of KWC-Aquarotter GmbH starting in September 2022.

Marten van der Mei earned their Abitur in Economics & Business administration from Wirtschaftsgymnasium Rinteln in 1990. From 1990 to 1993, they attended Sparkasse Schaumburg, where they pursued a degree in Banking business. Marten then enrolled at Justus Liebig University Giessen from 1993 to 1998, earning a Dipl.Kfm. in Business Admin., comparable to an MBA.
