Fiona Heeman is currently serving as a Science Liaison and Research Strategist at KWF Kankerbestrijding, starting in February 2024. Previously, Fiona held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Gothenburg, where research focused on (preclinical) Alzheimer’s disease and COVID-19. Fiona's academic journey includes significant roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and PhD Candidate in the Department of Radiology & Nuclear Medicine at Amsterdam UMC, with substantial contributions to the AMYPAD project and multiple first-author publications. Early career experience includes research internships, a member of educational committees, and leadership roles within national psychology organizations. Fiona's educational background includes a PhD in Neuroscience from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, alongside multiple degrees in related fields.
