Kelly Caird has a diverse work experience in marketing, communications, and social media roles. Kelly is currently working as the Vice President of Social Media at KWT Global since January 2023. Previously, they held various positions at Just Drive Media, including Vice President of Social Media & Customer Advocacy from January 2019 to November 2022. In this role, they led the digital team and was responsible for organic and paid social media, community management, brand and content development, influencer relations, marketing communications, customer marketing, and results measurement. Their clients included Instacart, Robinhood, Upwork, LinkedIn, Optimizely, Dropbox, Cohesity, VMware, RingCentral, eBay, and Skype, among others.
Before their time at Just Drive Media, Kelly was the Director of Customer Engagement from May 2017 to December 2018, the Director of Social Media & Customer Advocacy from May 2016 to May 2017, and a Senior Public Relations and Social Media Strategist from April 2012 to May 2016. Kelly also worked as a Public Relations & Social Media Strategist from March 2010 to April 2012.
Prior to their roles at Just Drive Media, Kelly was a Principal at Neat Words from April 2008 to April 2013. At Neat Words, they helped brands with social media, copywriting, media relations, email marketing, and more. Kelly worked with a variety of clients, including burlesque troupes, yoga studios, jam bands, and Revue magazine.
Kelly also worked as a Marketing Director at CUSO Development Company from July 2008 to February 2010, and as a Senior Communications Specialist at GFT Global Markets UK LTD from October 2005 to July 2008. Kelly started their career as a Communications Director at Professional Marketing from September 2004 to September 2005. At Professional Marketing, they managed consumer and trade PR accounts, including media relations, copywriting, and event planning for clients such as eBay, Hospice of Michigan, and Marie Osmond.
Kelly Caird holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising Management, specializing in Public Relations, from Michigan State University. Kelly also participated in a Study Abroad Program at The American University of Rome, focusing on International Advertising & Copywriting. In terms of additional certifications, Kelly obtained a certification in Writing with Impact from LinkedIn in January 2022. Kelly also completed courses in Skills for Inclusive Conversations and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in December 2021. Furthermore, they acquired the Influitive Certified Consultant certification from Influitive in April 2016. Kelly's most recent certification is in Social Media Marketing, which they obtained from the HubSpot Academy in December 2022.
