András G. Békés

András G. Békés has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. András G. began their career in 2000 as a Teaching Assistant at Budapest University of Technology and Economics, where they taught functional and logic programming to university students.

In 2006, András joined Ericsson as a Software Engineer, working on the maintenance of the AXD301 product, which is one of the largest software products ever implemented in a functional language. András G. later took on more challenging tasks as part of a new team working on the NETSim project.

In 2010, András joined Morgan Stanley as a Vice President/Senior Software Engineer. András G. played a crucial role in developing a data warehouse solution for the bond trading desk, which later expanded to the entire fixed income division. As the user base and team grew significantly, András took on management responsibilities alongside their technical role.

Most recently, András joined KX as a Senior Software Engineer in December 2021.

András G. Békés completed their Master's Degree in Computer Science from Budapest University of Technology and Economics from 1998 to 2004. In 2003, they also had a brief stint at Clemson University, where they studied Computer Science. Additionally, in 2001, they studied Computer Science at the University of Kassel.

Furthermore, in terms of certifications, András G. Békés has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn. In 2023, they completed the "Rust Essential Training" and "Rust Tips and Tricks" courses. In 2022, they obtained certifications in various areas, including Docker, Kubernetes, Google Cloud Platform, and more.
