Ruth Quealy has a comprehensive work experience in the legal field. Ruth is currently working as a Senior Commercial Counsel at KX since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Legal Counsel at Accenture from 2016 to 2022. Ruth also worked as a Corporate Counsel at Synopsys from 2011 to 2016, where they dealt with electronic design automation for the global electronics market. Before that, they were a Business Development Manager at Ding.com from 2010 to 2011, helping people living abroad top up mobile phones for their friends and family back home. Ruth started their career as a Trainee Solicitor at William Fry from 2007 to 2010.
Ruth Quealy has a diverse education history. In 1998 to 2002, they attended Dublin City University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in European Business with a focus on French. Ruth furthered their education by pursuing a CESEM degree in Business and Management at NEOMA Business School from 2000 to 2002. In 2004 and 2005, Quealy enrolled at Technological University Dublin, where they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Studies. Ruth went on to study at the Law Society of Ireland from 2007 to 2009 and obtained a Solicitor degree, specializing in Law. In 2011, they acquired a Diploma in Employment Law from the Law Society of Ireland. Quealy then focused on Intellectual Property, attending UCL Faculty of Laws in 2013, where they completed a course on "Intellectual Property Transactions: Law and Practice." Ruth deepened their knowledge by earning a Certificate in Intellectual Property Rights Management from the Law Society of Ireland, which they completed in 2014. Quealy continued their education in the field of law at the Law Society of Ireland, where they studied Arts, Entertainment, and Media Law in 2020. Most recently, in 2021, they pursued a course in Environmental Law and Climate Change from the Law Society of Ireland.
